Our Comenius School Partnership which is funded through Léargas enables us to create partnerships with other European schools to work on projects which are pedagogically relevant and encourage intercultural exchange. These projects involve travel for students and teachers involved, and take place over a period of two years.
There are two types of Comenius School Partnerships:
- Bilateral – where two schools work together
- Multilateral – where three or more schools work together
Since the late 1990s our school has been involved in Multilateral projects with many different countries such as Holland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Budapest, and Portugal. students have studied and presented information on themes such as Youth Leadership, Women in Europe, Water, Our Local, and National Heritage, Youth and European Politics, Youth News Europe – the use of digital media.
