Welcome to the Spanish department. We have Spanish classes in every year: first to sixth year. And also we have a group in LCA. We prepare our students for the Junior Certificate, LCA and Leaving Certificate exams.
All students have a choice between Spanish or French when starting in St. Dominic’s College.
Why study Spanish? Spanish is classified as one of the easiest languages for native English speakers to learn due to its similarities to English. It is also very accessible to us within the EU giving us many opportunities to speak it, hear it and read it.
