A number of 5th and 6th Year students had the opportunity to “Shadow” students in St. Patrick’s Teacher Training College as part of the 3rd Level Access Programme- we are delighted to see so many of our students interested in Primary School Teaching as a career.
Past pupil Hayley McMahon continues to be a role model as a current UCD Student mentor for our present 5th year students as part of their UCD Mentoring Programme, this programme encourages our students to remain focussed as they plan for their future academic career.
Our 6th year students continue to attend Allianz Worldwide Park West, each Thursday afternoon, after school for intense French and Spanish classes with native speakers. We thank the staff of Allianz Worldwide for their generous commitment to this programme and the on-going mentoring programme for both 5th and 6th year students as part of our Business in the Community Partnership.
