During the month of January, almost 100 students from around Ireland gathered together for the Safer Internet Day (SID) Training Ambassador Programme in Facebook HQ. I was very lucky to be one of those 100, to represent our school.
The training began with some icebreakers to help us to get to know each other. After the ice breakers, we worked together in groups were we shared and agreed different ideas on how to use the internet safely. There was a very positive oosphere and all those present became involved in the different activities. It was a day for sharing and learning.
I really enjoyed the day, and found it a very positive experience, I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with the other students during Safer Internet Day (SID) on the 6th February.
