Lots of preparation here in St. Dominic’s ahead of Schools go orange for Mental health day on Friday, 17 February students and staff will get our school community glowing Orange for mental health awareness as part of Cycle Against Suicide’s first annual #SchoolGoOrange day. It aims to drive mental health awareness and promote help-seeking behaviour in second level schools across all 32 counties. It hopes to spread the message that ‘It’s OK not to feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help’. As a CAS ambassador school, we are proud to be part of this inspiring event, thanks to our Positive Mental Health Team.
