On Thursday 25th April a delegation of students and teachers from a secondary school in the town of Kalajoki, Finland came to visit St. Dominic’s as part of a cultural exchange programme. The students met with a number of our Transition Year students who gave them a tour of our school, and told them all about Irish culture. This included sampling Irish food and a performance of traditional Irish dancing by Nicole Glennon (TY). The Finnish students in turn taught the Irish students all about their culture and lifestyle. Here are some photos from their visit.
